Love: what a trite word. The relationship of a couple: what a banal theme. But every time you find yourself in a love story, you do not know how to handle it. Squame d’amore is not a manual for learning how to love, but an exploration in many ways of the form love takes when we meet someone. Love is fluid, it passes from one couple to another, it is present in the least imaginable forms: in quarrelling, in choosing to live together forever, even in breaking up. How can love be told? The text offers an eclectic use of scenic languages with which to try to give one or more answers to this question. The fish, symbol of Great Love, tries to understand it from the outside observer that it is, using fetish-archetypes; dance helps us to explore the incomprehensibility of love, the changeability of the roles of the performers its imponderability. Let irrationality be a strength, let us surrender to the amorphous and uncontrollable force of love.
